As I looked through the pantry looking for a sweet after dinner. I see my fiance’s Oreos and think one will not hurt, but if I do that all my work will be for not. What to do?

It came to me a easy and simple recipe I learned in 6th grade, I started my love with baking young, peanut butter cookies. I love this recipe and had to share.



1 cup peanut butter (the planters is gross FYI)

1 cup sugar (I used splenda)

1 beaten egg

Ok the hard part

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. mix peanut butter and sugar. It will get a little stiff. (hehe)

3. add the egg and mix well

4. roll into about inch size balls and press down with a fork.

5. Bake for 8-10  minute until a bit more brown.

6. Let cool and enjoy!

Tip:They can be a little dry so milk is good to have with it.

Or dip them in chocolate for a chocolate peanut butter mix

    This is actually just a test run to see if I do have an issue. A few weeks gluten free to see how my body reacts. But thank you for the concern


I know I have not been doing reviews or videos much and for anyone that likes them, sorry. I have made a big life change in the last week that I have been 100% focused on.

As you can see by the title first and foremost I have cut out gluten. More on that in a moment I have also cut out about 99% of sugar.

I never knew how much bread based food I eat. It is not even the bread base it was the flour on food. I make a bomb fried chicken and of course now I cannot have that and even worse PIZZA! When we are low on funds pizza and cheap burritos (I know so healthy) are our go to. I guess it is now going to be salads. I Have been trying recipes for gluten-free and sugar free food and will keep you posted.

Lastly, I have been exercising daily. Thanks to my loving fiance getting my butt out the bed every morning to get out and run. I took a 4 mile walk the other day.

I do see already the bloat of my gut is fading and I feel better, short of the soreness. I will keep going hopefully!
